I turn 32 on Thursday, and while this year's birthday is going to be super low-key and a bit overshadowed by the birth of L, I still have a few things I want! After buying maternity/big girl clothing since last Fall, a couple of clothing items made my wish list. I cannot WAIT to buy some non-maternity clothes.

I got some work done this morning, the painters are here (our bedroom is already done, and I love it!), I'm catching up on last night's Top Chef Masters and US Weekly from the past two weeks, and I have a BFF date with Jen tonight—today's a good day! It will be the perfect day if I can make it on time to my favorite gym class, Cardio Dance. I'm loving all of these facts, and I'm also loving...

Things I'm Loving Thursday

I'm still working on getting organized over here, which I am totally over. Moving sucks, but once this house is whipped into shape, it will have been worth every minute and every annoyance. We are making decent progress with decorating. Our headboard is being made, master bedroom drape fabric has been purchased, a couch style and fabric have been picked out for the den as well as fabric to recover our chairs and drape and accent pillow fabric. Our painter comes two weeks from today.YAY! Now, to hurry up and wait!

How is it Thursday again? Only one more Thursday to go before we close on our new house! SO MUCH to do between now and then. While I'm not looking forward to unpacking our 18,000 boxes, I am looking forward to finally living there and getting acclimated to our new neighborhood and side of town. It's only 6 miles from where we are now, but I'm still going to have to switch grocery stores and Targets. GRRRRRR.

I should really be packing for our beach vacay, but I couldn't resist to bang out a quick post since I missed this post last week. We're off to Holden for nine days of fun, sun and relaxation! It's our first trip of the summer, and I'm pretty pumped to get away from Charlotte for a hot minute.

Well, I took a couple of weeks off from the blog. I've been a bit burned out lately and it was nice to take a small break. I am downgrading a little on my responsibilities outside of home and "work," so I may (or may not) be around here more. We have a lot of fun things planned this summer and a lot of figuring out the future to do! We are batting around the idea of renting out our house rather than selling right away to wait out the market for a couple of more years. We're on the heels of a pretty busy weekend! We're having friends over to grill out tomorrow, possibly having a date night Saturday, and Branner and I are heading to Asheboro early Sunday morning so that I can attend the wedding of a childhood/family friend on Sunday night. Whew, I'm already tired! Here's what I'm loving this week...

...these hair ties. They are the best! I bought a pack at Scout & Molly's about a month ago, and I have really loved them! I need to go stock up on some more and get some of their headbands. Highly recommend these if you workout or wear your hair back a lot!
