First Day of Preschool!

Today was B's first full day of preschool! His teachers this year are Mrs. Michele and Mrs. Niza and he will be going Monday/Wednesday/Friday this year. So, far, everything is going great and we are looking forward to a fun year!!!

Branner loves the alphabet. He loves the ABC song, he loves to see the letters and he loves the Elmo ABC iPad app we have. His favorite letter? Why, "B," of course! I'm not sure why, but he just loves "B"s. He points them out whenever he comes across one (be it on blocks, in writing, wherever!) and always exclaims "B!"to let us know.

In case you were wondering, preschool is going fabulously for Branner! He loves it. LOVES IT. He gets excited when we pull in the church parking lot. He babbles and laughs all the way to his classroom. He always gets a good report and is happy to see me when I pick him up in the afternoon. His teachers adore him and have the nicest things to say about him. I am so pleased with my decision to start him at "school" this year!

Mommy's Little Helper

Branner has become such a good helper in the past few months. His favorite things to help with? Cleaning, vacuuming, unloading the dishwasher, putting groceries up and throwing trash away. What a lucky mommy I am to have a little boy who likes to clean! He definitely gets it from his daddy and not from me.

You CAN get completely, all-out soaked and have to wring water out of your clothes even when you are parked close to the YMCA entrance/exit and you are carrying an umbrella. 

"That?!"

Along with pointing, Branner has developed an insatiable appetite for knowledge...in the form of asking, "That??!!" He points to people, toys, pictures, fans, anything you can imagine, and wants to know exactly who or what it is. He is learning SO MUCH these days! I am so amazed at how much little minds can absorb and I love watching him think through things! Barry and I really don't mind answering the, "That??!!," question constantly (yet) because we, of course, find it adorable that B is inquisitive! This age is SO FUN!!!!
